Morshed Millat, Faculty Member, BIBM served in in the core departments of Offsite Supervision, FEPD, BRPD, SME&SPD, SFD of Bangladesh Bank(BB) for around 30 years. He led a number of GCF projects, ADB funded BKEIPs. He Contributed to Policy Formulation on Loan Classification and Provisioning, Loan Rescheduling and Restructuring, Interest Rate Fixation on different banking services, Capital Adequacy, Single Borrower Exposure Limit, Foreign Exchange Policy, Green Banking, ERM, ESRM, Guidelines, Guidelines on Low Cost Funding, Green Transformation Fund, Sustainable Finance Policy, Sustainability Rating Methodology, CSR Guidelines, NFIS – Bangladesh, Green Bond Policy and so many.

He has conducted more than 1000 sessions in BBTA, BIBM, ABB, BAB, National and International Organizations/Offices, training institutions of Banks/Finance Companies/govt. offices He led and leading many sustainability and climate action projects of SWISS Contact, OXFAM, WB, GIZ, Tara Foundation, INGOs.  He Represented BB’s SDG Focal Point, NDCC, ICC Working Group (still Member), SBFN, IDA, SBFN, UNGC, GSEF, IBFCR Project, NAB, He presented papers on Climate and sustainability issues in International Green Credit Forum – 2012 (China), International Sustainable Banking Conference-2013, SBN Forum-2013(Japan), International Sustainable Banking Forum-2014 (Nigeria), Green Banking and Finance in AIT, Bangkok Dubai, USA, Srilanka, Malaysia, Armenia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Phillipinnes etc.

He is the author of many books, policy, stretegy and research papers on climate and sustainability issues. He is a gold medal winner including BB’s two times recognition awards, Green Leadership award by MoEFCC.
